Yona He-Poda launched Forbes Travel Guide and led its Asia Pacific expansion since 2009. In her current role, she oversees all aspects of business development, operations, PR and strategic expansion of its star-ratings, consulting and content businesses. She has launched star-ratings in 22 destinations within 11 Asia Pacific countries. Yona has wealth of global experience having lived in 5 countries including North America, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia. Throughout her 25-year career, she’s held management roles at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Louis Vuitton, and Charter One Bank. While at Four Seasons, she was part of the pre-opening team of the flagship Hong Kong property, in addition to receiving numerous recognitions in North America and the Asia Pacific region. She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a focus on International Marketing Management and received a Certification in Urban Development from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Natively born in Guangzhou, Yona currently resides between Hong Kong and Jakarta. She speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
Joining ILTM in January 2012, Alison has an extensive global background and over 20 years experience in premium travel and lifestyle. At American Express International, Alison was responsible for leveraging the brand’s global travel network, identifying and creating international travel partners. Based in Asia, Alison also created American Express’ business development unit across the JAPA region. She is passionate about travel and the value of relationships within the luxury travel industry.
In his current role at Les Roches Jin Jiang, Dr. Sacha Stöcklin is responsible for maintaining the college’s standards of excellence at the Shanghai campus and upholding the high expectations of a Swiss education in hospitality. Before joining Les Roches Jin Jiang, Dr. Stöcklin was Program Manager at Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Bluche, Switzerland. In addition, he has taught at other prestigious hospitality colleges in Switzerland.Dr. Stöcklin is a Certified Hospitality Educator and holds a Doctorate in Education (EdD) with a focus on Educational Management. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Management, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel, Restaurant and Resort Management.
Zita Ong is one of the Board Members of Edipresse Media Asia, a luxury lifestyle media and events company. She has been instrumental in transitioning the company from a traditional print publisher to a dynamic multi-platform content provider, encompassing digital, custom publishing, content marketing and live events. Headquartered in Hong Kong, the company counts among its growing portfolio one of the region’s most influential luxury lifestyle media brands, Asia Tatler. Prior to joining Edipresse, Zita held senior positions in ACP magazines Asia and MediaCorp Publishing in Singapore, where she oversaw numerous magazine launches. Zita, who travels extensively for both work and pleasure, loves nothing more than combining her penchant for luxurious hospitality experiences with her passion for global adventure.
Simon Kahn is responsible for marketing strategy, development, and execution for Google’s consumer-facing and B2B products and solutions in Asia Pacific. Prior to working for Google, Simon worked at American Express for thirteen years including serving as Country Manager for Singapore from 2008 to 2011. Before this Simon was Executive Director of Youth Venture, a non-profit organisation that works with young people to develop and run their own businesses and organisations. Simon worked in national politics and government for four years before joining Youth Venture including working in the White House Liaison office in the Department of State. Simon’s wealth of expertise placed him on AmCham’s Board of Governors for six years including three years as Chairman. He holds a BA in Asian Studies from Swarthmore College and a Masters in Chinese Studies and MBA from the University of Michigan.

Dai Bin is the President of China Tourism Academy and the Director of the National Tourism Data Center. Dai Bin also serves as a Director for the Academic Committee; referee of the National Tourist Hotel Star Rating Committee, academic member of the ‘Tourism Tribune’; and editor of ‘China Tourism Hotel’.Dai Bin’s research focuses on tourism business management and tourism industrial economics. He has published more than 300 academic papers and 30 published monographs, translations and textbooks. He has hosted over 70 different projects involving the development and enhancement of China’s tourism industry, China’s economic operation and development forecast, and nation-wide investigations into tourist satisfaction.
